Cops doing hazing…yeah that makes me feel really great about law enforcement.

(If this were in a class of some sort I could buy that it would be useful somehow for them to know what kinds of force they’re applying, but this?  Laughing in front of an audience?  Not so much.  It being common doesn’t make it useful or helpful.)

10 (chronologically arranged) times Josh Duggar played doting dad and loving husband while actively maintaining a paid Ashley Madison account as “Joe Smithson.”

< p>#N everforget

HIS NAME WAS JOE SMITHSON???

What I wanna know is how people didn’t recognize him when they met up. Like how do you go meet him and you know he’s married and do stuff anyway

It’s because he probably didn’t end up meeting anyone from that site. More than 90% of the female “users” were bots whose purpose was to either keep the men on the site entertained or outright scam them.

Valid but there were women who did even knowing who he was and the fact that he’s married

He used someone else’s pictures. The only way anyone knew Josh Duggar was on AM was when the site was hacked and his account was discovered presumably by his email or phone number or credit card.

I get that but I’m saying when he met with someone in person. I don’t get how anyone thinks that’s okay

He didn’t meet anyone in person. He most likely only interacted with bots. And no one has come forward saying they went on a date with Josh Duggar (if their account had already been exposed, why not take a swing at a celebrity?).

What about Danica Dillon?  Josh has claimed that he has proof those encounters didn’t happen, but he declined to present said proof, and she refuses to say they didn’t (she’s stopped saying “That happened” and has started saying “Just because you stop talking about something doesn’t mean it never happened”), so I still have no idea what to think about those accusations.

Danica Dillion passed a police lie detector test. I will shout over and over again from the roof tops that I believe this women. If for no other reason, the agreed price was $1500 and he would only give her $1000. If that does say thrifty Duggar - I don’t know what does.

1. I ei ther didn’t know or forgot about the lie detector, and while I know people argue about how useful they are, they seem pretty hard to get a false negative with and 2. I feel insanely bad for how hard I laughed at the fact that you’re right; that’s the most convincing part of the argument and I don’t know how that didn’t occur to me before.

Jimbob said that was why they bought such a large property, so all the kids would have room to build their houses on that property and they could keep everyone together.

But they’re totally not a cult guys.

A HUSBAND and wife who reject medicine on religious ground s have been charged with murder after they allegedly let their baby daughter starve to death.

Here’s what we know about Seth Welch and Tatiana Fusari and their warped beliefs.

Seth Welch and Tatiana Fusari, both 27, are a married couple who lived with their three children on a cult-like farm in Solon Township, Michigan.

The fences are painted with religious slogans and quotations from the Bible.

One sign in large white letters reads: “Repent, Believe, Obey. My kingdom is not of this world. His kingdom comes, his will be done.”

Similar slogans are hand-painted on placards erected around the site.

One reads: “Every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess to God”.

Welch has posted video rants on Facebook discussing his obsessive religious faithand his lack of trust in doctors.

In one rant he described doctors as “priesthoods of the medical cult.”

In another, he says: “The righteous shall live by faith. It’s God who is sovereign over disease and those sorts of things and, of course, ultimately deaths.”

Welch has also quoted approvingly from a book by Donald Trump.

The couple claim they were previously visited by social workers after they refused to allow their children to be vaccinated.

Welch said in one video: “It didn’t seem smart that you would be saving people who weren’t the fittest.

“If evolution believes in survival of the fittest, why are we vaccinating everybody?

“Shouldn’t we just let the weak die off and let the strong survive?”

What are Seth Welch and Tatiana Fusari accused of?

They have been charged with murder after the death of their malnourished ten-month-old Mary Anne.

Video of the moment they learned of the allegation shows Welch’s jaw drop open as Fusari bursts into tears.

Kent County Sheriff detectives claimed Welch and Fusari admitted in interviews they had noticed the baby’ s “skinny appearance and low weight” a month before her death.

A police affidavit alleges: “Tatiana Fusari admitted during the interview that they failed to reach out for medical help with their daughter for fear of having her children removed by Child Protective Services, lack of faith and trust in the medical services and religious reasons”.

First responders found the baby girl with sunken eyes and cheeks after Welch called 911 on August 2.

He told emergency services that they had found the child dead in her crib.

A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death as malnutrition and dehydration.

On the day of her death, Welch wrote on Facebook: “Heart is about shattered right now.

“Woke up to Mary dead in her bed this morning - this evening had our children removed and placed on ‘no contact’ because Tati and I are the worst parents ever - Thankfully they are with gr andma and grandpa.

“Just numb inside right now. And I’m really enjoying the loving embrace of an isolation cell from the cops and government employees who keep assuring me ‘they are only here to help’.”

They are also facing a neglect case in relation to their two older children, aged four, two.

They will next appear in court on August 20.

I&r squo;d like to add that the shocked face in the thumbnail was only made when he heard that the consequence of the felony is life in prison without parole. When he was being told that he was being prosecuted for the murder of his daughter, his face was stone cold. He literally only cared about life in prison.

Drama on the Ark!

fundamentallyroyal:

fundamentallyroyal:

Oh Fundie Friends, there is drama at the Ark Park!

I’ve mentioned before the Ark Encounter is located in my home county of Grant County, KY.  I noticed some of my friends on Facebook had commented on an article in a local Facebook news site called Grant County Buzz.  The article discussed that attendance figures at the ark have been wildly exaggerated and attendance is actually much lower than what Ken Ham and the park report.  They filed a Freedom of Information Act request and got the actual numbers.  The numbers were reported in the Kentucky-Cincinnati Enquirer, The Courier-Journal (a local newspaper out of Louisvill e which is considered on par with national papers) and Fortune Magazine, as well as other various websites.  Links are below:

Original Grant County Buzz article: https://www.facebook.com/grantcountykybuzz/?hc_ref=ARTTmkZbK3crHa0485267Y33MAmH03jms1yr1hE2Dwm5NrxNpswsBdYX-1WqMXQ57nI&fref=nf

News Northern Kentucky: http://www.newsnky.com/ark-attendance.html

Fortune Magazine:  http://fortune.com/2018/08/03/noahs-ark-encounter-kentucky/

Courier-Journal: https://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/2018/08/02/ken tucky-ark-encounter-visitors-sink-lower-than-projections/878239002/

Cincinnati Enquirer: https://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2018/07/05/ark-encounter-reports-1-million-visitors-2nd-year/759704002/

So this local Facebook news site (Grant County Buzz) reports these numbers as fact (which they are).  People lose their crap in the comments and go on about how they’ve always seen more people there, they work there and know there’s a lot of business, etc.  Someone tried to explain anecdotal evidence vs factual evidence, but they didn’t seem to get it.  So I read the story and the comments and got a chuckle out of it and moved on.  Then…Ken Ham responded.

Ham’s Response: https://www.facebook.com/aigkenham/posts/2026672960696383

The GC Buzz response to Ham’s claim is just a share of Ham’s post, so the link isn’t specific.  But if you search Grant County Buzz and scroll down you’ll see it.

He claimed these numbers were “fake news” from atheists and secular media who want the Ark to fail.  He actually claimed the officially reported numbers, provable through ticket sales and tax filings, are fake news.

And here& rsquo;s another fun article about the drama, just because.  http://friendlyatheist.patheos.com/2018/07/19/ken-ham-says-two-million-people-have-visited-ark-encounter-that-makes-no-sense/

Y’all, I just can’t.  This thing is so obviously not doing the business it was supposed to (it is ridiculously expensive) and has not brought any of the business to the county that it was supposed to.  It’s probably violating the First Amendment, as they receive federal and state tax funds and tax breaks, but require you to be a Christian to work there.  Anyway, I’ ve been enjoying this drama and am eagerly eating these comments up, partly because I know a lot of these people and the stupidity is burning.

@wtffundiefamilies @keepingupwithfundies

I’m tagging the two above blogs because they have a much larger follower count than I do and they will hopefully reblog this for people to see the fundie shit show that is developing.

Thanks for the heads-up  - I’ve seen a couple videos on the subject recommended to me on YouTube so I realized Ken Ham was struggling financially and lying about it, but…god, his desperation and lies are feeding my soul.  How does he think he’s going to get away with these lies?  Does he think no one will check?  Does he actually believe the dumb shit he says?  (How ma ny times have I asked that about this man?)  Dammit, Ken, just admit that you built a shitty tourist attraction that no one wants to see, especially not for your ridiculous prices.

Yeah, you can really see him just seem, like…shocked that his actions will have this consequence and that he’s not somehow exempt.  He looks shocked and offended by the fact that he’ll be punished for letting his child die.  @totallyrobophobic is right - he doesn’t care about anyone but himself.  Not surprising given his childish whining about being called “the worst parents ever” AFTER HIS CHILD DIED OF PREVENTABLE CAUSES IN HIS CARE.  He was more butthurt over not being given the ‘respectful’/’tolerant’ treatment he clearly feels he deserves than he was heartbroken over such a loss.  What a fucking garbage human being.

itsjusttalking

He met danica at ‘an exotic dancer’ bar in PA. Twice paid $500 or $1000 for private dances. Blah blah, she stopped talking when she got a new Bentley or jaguar. It was on her insty, but that disappeared as well.

Yeah, I know she wasn’t via AM.com but there seems to be a lot of general back and forth over whether or not Josh “really” cheated or just committed adultery in his heart or whatever the fuck.  I feel like that’s relevant to the conversation regardless of how they (allegedly) met.

I didn’t hear about her being paid off, but sure enough:

And I know all it would really do is “prove” to all the fundamentalist/Christian Right lackeys how “hysterical” and “hateful” liberals are.

But goddamn.

Jim Bob and Michelle were taken off the air after it came to light how they exploited their young, vulnerable children for profit in the wake of an unspeakable crisis…

AND NOW HERE THEY ARE, DOING THE EXACT THING ALL OVER AGAIN, selling their children for money

They seriously can’t stop. They will do anything to keep themselv es in the limelight. They’ll claim that “the Lord has called them” and it’s all “so other people may know Jesus” or howeverthefuck else they rationalize it… but come on…

YOU DON’T THINK TLC CANCELING YOUR SHOW WAS GOD’S WAY OF TELLING YOU TO SHUT THE FUCK UP?

I have NEVER wanted to one-star something as bad as I want to one-star this CD.

I feel you here.  They’ll take it as vindication and proof of “persecution,” but not saying anything will be taken as tacit approval.  It’s no-win.

I have decided that Jill’s life is the saddest thing. Relegated to hawking salad dressing recipes in a selfie she has to awkwardly take herself while balancing a salad against her chest while people debate the minutiae of her life in the comments.

I don’t know if I could do it without becoming insanely, monumentally depressed. And I don’t even have kids.

Also: what the hell kind of a question is that, and who are the people who took time out of their day to tell Jill Dillard “yes, I can smell your fake Indian food”?!?!

I love that so many people were refusing to play along.  (And I like Indian food too, but that barely looks like food, period.)  It would be sad if she weren’t so insufferable - she seems so desperate for attention to the point where she comes off as a sincerely miserable, lonely person.
